Avalon is the island in the mists, the place Avalon" is a warm, ethereal poem, a large scale abstract painting in tones of peach, violet, white. It is an essentially watery and fluid painting, with lyrical passages of movement. The making of Avalon spans several years. It is a diary of time and change, or light and movement. This painting was on exhibition as the central piece in an elegant villa on Lake Como in Italy, and is now available for collection.
It is a stunning statement.
