"This is why I love you" is a warm, sensual, vibrant painting dedicated to the fiery sky and wind. It is made with a beautiful palette of crimson, rose madder, umber and metallic gold pigments, giving it a jewel-like appearance. It bears the artist's classic ascension movement, with the sky meeting the earth in an imaginary, ethereal landscape. Its title was taken from my own love of painting.
