"I was looking for roses" is an ethereal imaginary abstract landscape. A place I found a bit by accident. I walked into the studio with this longing to paint a rose. A big, overwhelming blaze of a rose. But then I wandered, and got lost along the way. And as I painted, there it was- the water, the air moving, the hints of rain falling. And the roses were there, too.
This painting is mounted in a natural wood floater frame.

 Very, very beautiful and alive.
