The frozen lake holding its breath as winter comes to an end, exhaling for the first time in as long as it can remember. 
 
I am the frozen lake, taking first breaths after the longest, coldest hardest winter. Letting go and realizing that I have become a diamond.
 
Will be mounted in a white floater frame once dry.
Made with sections of gold leaf.
